Depends on the fandom. There are plenty of fandoms with m/f and gen fics galore.

Not weird at all. I tend to like what actually happens in the source material, and not find a need to fantasize about everyone fucking each other. I don't care what gender is paired with what gender in the actual canon. I like the story that is being told to me.
