Thank you for being honest about it!

I've seen too many S/L shippers that say they don't understand this pairing because they never met, when they mean they hate it because people are not writing S/L.

It's kind of a little of both, I guess. I don't ship John/Lestrade but I don't object to it the way I object to Mycroft/Lestrade. But then, John/Lestrade isn't an inexplicable juggernaut so it doesn't threaten my OTP. So, y'know, who knows?

Never saw the M/L shippers being assholes about S/L or J/L because they want the authors to stop writing them and that's why I don't like some of the S/L shippers.
