It's just another version of D/s AUs, really, so if you aren't into that sort of kink, I understand why you wouldn't like it. Personally, I like the idea behind a/b/o 'verses because power play + biological imperative = incredibly hot (to me, and presumably everyone writing it), but mpreg squicks me out so I rarely read it. Moar femslash a/b/o, that's what I say.

Omg, THIS. I would love to see someone actually explore the a/b/o dynamic with female characters. I've seen it touched on in a few fics, but nothing really in-depth.

Yes! <3 one fic recently made me break my 'no rpf' rule because girl!Omega/boy!Omega femslash was too interesting a premise for me to ignore.

Agreed to more femslash. And more het where the alpha is the woman. One thing that irritatese me about the whole A/B/O thing is that inverably if there are women at all, there will be some mention that all women are betas or omegas. It is really irritating.

I've always wondered how being a female alpha would pan out. Especially in the worlds where male omegas can get pregnant. I think I've only read one fic that even really touched on it.

I've managed to find two.

Damn, I need to start looking harder.

Someone could do one where John's sister has a relationship with Sgt. Donovan. They could call it "When Harry Met Sally..."
