The concept of the episode didn't bother me (with the whole bet thing), but it pissed me off that House was (as usual) right, and that there really was something "wrong" with the husband in order for him to feel no sexual urges. And it's especially annoying because it further shows that House isn't a diagnostic genius, like the show seems to believe he is. He takes wild shots in the dark, then the writers write a story based around that. And that's my problem with the show. House can say anything like "this patient has blonde hair. There must be something wrong with her!" and thus the show will eventually prove he is right through a series of ridiculous and convenient plot points, despite there being nothing essentially wrong with a patient being blonde in the first place.

IMO it would have been far more satisfying if the couple proved House wrong in the end, and that they really were a very happy married asexual couple.

THIS. And his patients go through a lot--including near death and unnecessary surgery--while he fishes around for the right answer.
