You can't control your feelings but you can control your reaction to your feelings. That's what haters don't get, they act like they have no choice but to act miserable and make everyone else miserable, but it never occurs to them they could also choose the high road and get over it.

I don't even think they feel they have no choice. I think every time someone posts a hating post or comment they make a conscious decision "I am going to be a dick now." They know it perfectly well.

no, a lot of them don't feel as though they have to take responsibility for their actions, so they blame the other side for their behavior. Which isn't me saying that a lot don't know exactly what they're doing, but that it's simplifying it by saying they all are just dicks who like being dicks.
