I'm still so fucking bitter that Jacob and Leah didn't wind up falling for (but not imprinting on!) each other. The conversation they had about imprinting taking away their choices seemed like Meyer was finally getting a clue, but SUDDENLY RENESMEE UGH. ...I should just buck up and write an AU.

I'm still wondering how badly I read the books since I totally thought Meyer was going to aim for a Jacob/Leah end. Here I thought, "Oh hey! All the dub-con is being lampshaded! I like this! And now I'm finally shipping a couple that's going to make it :D!

Have you read A Rock and a Hard Place (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4532236/1/A_Rock_and_a_Hard_Place)? It has resistantly-imprinted-to-Renesmee!Jacob, and Leah being adorabitter. But you should write that AU so I can read it. It's Jacob/Leah, that's like an AUTOREAD ♥

I don't think you read it badly - I mean, given that all Edward had to do was stare at Bella with his dreamy topaz/black/gold/whatthefuckever eyes before they were in love, Leah telling Jacob that she respects him and wants to stay with him is one hell of a shipping cue!
