OMG YES THIS, PREACH! I mean, even just letting things take their NATURAL course from season 1 and having Morgana NOT be evil, but just a victim of persecution fighting back against Uther (which they totally set up the groundwork for before deciding that subtlety and good writing was not a direction they wanted to take), would have made for a much better show. But yeah, Morgana has always been the one to inspire me and capture my interest the most, and I always wished the show was focused on her and Gwen anyway--especially since, as you say, the "bromance" on this show is so stale and badly developed and stagnant...

But as others have pointed out, they'd need completely different writers for your idea, who actually had, like TALENT, and didn't make it their mission to crush anything with potential to be good...
