I completely agree, and I try to hold myself to this standard in all things, no matter how much I hate the thing. I try to keep all my hate off of fan comms (preferably keeping it exclusively on my personal journal) and I do honestly try not to judge other people's tastes.
But goddamn if Mass Effect 3's ending won't be the thing that breaks me. (Still gonna try not to judge people who like it and gonna try not to target fan comms, but I am rather affronted by that ending and it is hard to keep inside.)
