That scene in The Thin Man where Nick is comforting... Dorothy(?), and Nora comes in, and the two just exchange those perfect looks... love it.

No need to explain, no wacky misunderstandings, no helplessness on either side. Conversations that rat-tat-tat like Rogers and Astaire, even with a few under the belt. Just an awesome, awesome partnership.
