The first thing I think when I see that is "ow", not "ew". But that might just be because mine are sensitive like fuck and when they get like that it it hurts like hell.

eeeeeeeeeeew I had a teacher like that! It was so... disturbing. But he was a cool teacher and one of my favorites so it balanced out.

As for the whole nipples thing, they're only distracting/bothersome to me if they 1. stick out too much or 2. contrast sharply with the surrounding skin tone.

Nipples poking through shirts is why I wear a slightly padded bra (like a T-shirt bra) all the time even though I'm already a big D cup (D's are too little, next Cup size is too big). It's to prevent those puppies from showing thru the shirt, esp. when I'm cold. I get cold easily and sooner than most people. I'm cold intolerant due to hypothyroidism and due to having hypothermia as child on a skiing trip from being stuck in the snow drift.

I got so fuckin' sick of people asking me if I was cold b/c of my nipples showing (yes, I'm cold, what business is it of yours unless you can change the temp and are willing to do so and no it's not 'cause I'm aroused by your presence. Jackass.). It made me seriously uncomfortable around those people and very aware of what body part both the men and the women (and even my grandmother asked me this!!) were paying attention to. I couldn't ignore it when they were talking about it!

Ugh yeah, it's like I'm seeing them naked, and that makes me so uncomfortable.
