(Anonymous) 2012-03-15 02:02 am (UTC)(link)I am not interested in NUhura. It doesn't mean I dislike her- I really don't care all that much one way or another. This is a really dumb analogy, but I kind of think of the characters I don't actively dislike but don't like particularly, either, as kind of like blueberries.
I don't hate blueberries, but they're not my favorite food ever. I'm not going to go out of my way to find and eat them, but if you put a plate of blueberries in front of me, I'm not going to be all "FUCK NO, BLUEBERRIES." I'll probably eat them, but they're not what I'd prefer to eat. Same thing with characters I'm not all that interested in- I'm not going to go out of my way to find fic with them in it or anything, but if they happen to be in something, I'll read it.
Argh, I hope that makes sense... I'm tired and my English isn't perfect even when I'm completely awake.
