I realize kinks are kinks but there was a 'type' of request that went along the lines of "Uhura plots against/is mean to Kirk, so Spock beats the crap out of her and kills her in front of Kirk (and the crew) for her shenanigans, and then afterwards (presumably over her literally dead body) cuddles Kirk."

It reminded me of an old Spangel fic where Spike and Wesley are vamped by Angelus, go to Sunnydale and rape Buffy TO DEATH, and then all three engage in an orgy of Sire/Childe love near her rapidly cooling body.

Actually, I don't know why I'm surprised. I remember the days pre- and post-Half Blood Prince when one of the most active threads on a popular ranting forum was about That Slut Ginny Weasley.

In fact, a quick Google search informs me that it is one of the threads that is still active. Oh, fandom...
