And yeah, some people say they're boring but wtf? You can't care about a relationship if there's no angst or drama or conflict or tension? Bullshit. Me, I want them to be "boring" and sweet and stable and predictable -- I want the relationship to be totally safe and secure. Leave the drama and suspense to the other relationships plz.

Or both die! Never underestimate the capacity of non flagship/movie characters to get offed in a big event.

Except Luke Cage. Sweet Christmas, that brother is immortal! Though I hold out hope for an Isiah Mustafa movie.

Totally with you. I actually just started to get back into comics and Young Avengers is one of the titles I've grabbed onto. Billy and Teddy really are adorable together, and its just so nice to have an established, functioning couple in general. There is always enough drama in the comics without it affecting their relationship.

Finally, an on-panel kiss! They are fucking adorable. I'm not even reading the comics, but I check in with those two now and then to see if, yup, they're still together, still alive, still awesome (I may just start reading the longer they can maintain that). Anybody bored with it needs to point me to the tons of other gay Western comic characters with the same status. And then show me how they opened that door to an alternate universe.

I've accepted that Marvel's PTB hate all of my canon het OTPs, but I'd really like to have at least one happy, stable gay pairing to cling to, plus at least one cute Avengers-related ship that doesn't get destroyed.
