I honestly am baffled at people calling Hinamori weak. She is strong. So she's obsessed with Aizen. Who wouldn't be in her situation?

Remember that a woman who's devoted to a man is automatically deemed as an asskissuing bitch who must die, whereas a man who's devoted to another man is OMG great and wonderful. It's a sort-of fandom law, or something.

And yeah, I'm more-or-less referring to Kira up there. I don't hate him per se and know Gin fucked him up almost as much as Aizen fucked around with Momio, but if she's bashed and he's worshipped for pretty much *the same reason*, then I smell hypocrisy and misogyny in the Bleach fandom. Even when Kira and Momo were long time friends and Kira was all "Oh Hell, NO! T-T" when he was told about Hinamori's fate. LOL, no.

Orihime is one of the few fictional characters that have made me *cry* out of sheer emotion in any series. Really. *hugs her*

I'm fourthing the above, and also throwing in that 237 was the second time Orihime made me cry.

Ichigo is a big part of Orihime's characterization, just as Aizen's a big part of Hinamori's. But they're not the only people in their lives, and devotion and/or obsession aren't the only characteristics these two girls display. They're both very strong women, and very powerful characters. Shame on anyone who dares to say that either of them are "whiny bitches" or "spineless."
