Regarding 9... I love you so much.

The best part is, there's really only a couple of people who are trying to start a witchhunt about her, and they're all petty and childish. They constantly link to their own or their friend's galleries, with statements like "Look, I/this person is a realist, and yet no one is accusing me/them, because I/they don't copy!"

They also launch into volleys of curse words at people who disagree, and are probably only spreading their filth around because every site they try to spew it on, they get banned for the above actions.

But it's so terribly frustrating because it seems like the entire point of their allegations is that once Linda's fans know the truth, they won't enjoy her art any more. I still love it, and I still look to her as inspiration to get better.

People are just jealous. She's one of the most talented digital artists I've seen and still to this day her artwork to me is breathtaking. Comparing her to other artists is just wrong. I have severe issues with anyone who takes it upon themselves to compare artists or bash them in order to make themselves feel better.

I remember reading an article in an art journal back when I was in art school about Renaissance painters using the projection techniques I mentioned before as if it made them any less of an artist. Using these projections or not they were artists because you could give me a picture of paint over with acrylics and it would probably look like crap because I cannot use traditional paints to save my life. I can draw, I can use charcoal, but I cannot paint with acrylics or watercolour. It takes a certain talent to do that in it's own right much like there are those who can draw just fine on paper but would be lost when it comes to digital artwork.

Linda's no less of an artist because she might use stock to incorporate into her pictures. It's not that uncommon. I have friends who are models who are used for some fantasy art books and while it's based off them as a reference it's been all done with digital painting. I have another friend who's a fantasy arrist and had me model for some artwork and all I did was wear a swimsuit and do some poses because he just wanted a human reference. Yes, the finished product will look somewhat like me facially and body type, but that's where it ends.

Seriously, the people who think less of her don't have any clue how most artists work.
