No, I've made secrets in paint before. :3 You can save them as PNGs.

And there's a difference, the quality of an MSP image is lower when saved as a JPG than it would be in Photoshop, in which you can control the quality (and thus bigger file size,) of the image. For icons, for example; the majority of PNG are clearer and cripser, where as many JPG are saved at low quality, blur and or distort.

I'm not saying I don't agree--I save my artwork as PNGs, they don't degrade like JPEGs do--I'm just saying it's not something to freak out about. Some people can't see them, some people don't know better, and some people don't care. It's not that big a deal.
