God, I couldn't agree more. I came to fandom for the fun--drawing, writing, and looking at other people's drawings and stories. I stayed for the wank.

Then I realized how stupid and petty and shitty the wank was. People spending hours being furious over how everybody plays with their imaginary fantasies for fun. It's like the little playground pissant telling you that Michaelangelo says cowabunga, April O'Neil doesn't dooo that, and now you've ruined everything and the awesome ninja turtle game has to come to a big stop.

I still like the actual art of fandom, but i just can't play in the communities much anymore.

(Well, except for this one and sometimes fanficrants, because my secret is that I do kind of like the wank. Sometimes. A little.)
