As nearly as I can remember, it was mostly made in a fit of pique because I was sick of people totally ignoring the strong, badass female characters who do exist, like Balsa up there.
I can't really defend or even speak to the wording, since in all honesty I can't remember what was going through my head at the time.

We know there are some people who post tons of secrets about one fandom(HAY STAR WARS GUY, I SEE YOU), and this is very boring. Those are easy to weed out, though. In general, more secrets means more chances for people to find something relevant to them. I'd rather see more than less.
