When I was younger, I helped mod a submission-based site (not on LJ, though), and I got a kick out of anonymously submitting the most bizarre stuff I could dream up. I tried to keep it light-hearted, though. It was even better doing it as a mod -- I could see the community reaction and the reaction of the other mods. Everyone found it amusing as far as I could tell. But I never admitted it was me doing it.
