A few times I've been like "oh maybe I'll post the first chapter of this fic and see if it gets any interest" "maybe it'll motivate me to write more if someone seems interested in it", BUT THEN nobody ever is, so I don't...

It's fine trying to find inspiration but relying on other people for it is usually pretty unreliable :T
