The Number 19 seems to be reserved for a few of the most provocative secrets that we have been seeing lately, no?

In response to #19 today: To deal with the negative connotations of the term, a number of fans have unofficially split it. There is now a difference between otaku (negative, from the Japanese usage) and Otaku (positive). The otaku embodies all of the traits you have listed as negative, while the Otaku is a person who has managed to be clean, polite, and down to earth while still being a fan.

Word. ^_^ (and I wouldn't say there's even that much of a split. Note the positive publicity some modern media treatments are giving. . . I think I'll love Tim Kring et al forever for casting Hiro as they did. ♥ )
