I have... very mixed feels about that moment.
On the one hand, I don't think they should have gone there. It was a really dark moment for Arthur, and really uncomfortable to watch, and I just... ick.

On the other hand I think it was dealt with better than you'd expect from Merlin and it didn't make me angry with Arthur the way basically everything else in that scene did. Mostly because his reaction right after made it pretty obvious that he was aware he'd crossed a line.

Basically everything. The fact that Arthur had for some reason told the whole court what Gwen did for reasons that I do not understand. The fact that he effectively humiliated her. The fact that her brother was apparently disgusted by her. The icky slut-shaming undertones. Yeah.
