YMMV, but not the fandom circles I've been hanging around. Nobody is all that invested in Katpee of the people I've met, and I've never seen any 'real' HGs shipping wars in my fandom time on LJ. Even my midnight audience was really respectful (albeit a little older, it looked like) and the only part they seemed to find silly was the love triangle. Overall I think it depends on where you look. Older fans might also be more your style (though not always, of course). Not everybody is silly about the love triangle~~~, though.

I honestly don't think she had the foresight to think about that given that all her male character names are HORRIBLE. I have to wonder if she's kicking herself now for naming him Peeta.
