Why does everyone write about Danny? This is even remotely abut her, it's about Khal Drogo and his army raping and murdering an entire town and getting what he deserved a thousand times over.

Um. If someone kills your husband and unborn child, how does that not have anything to do with you? Especially if it's partly your fault for getting the person involved in the first place? Of course it has to do with Dany, it's the thing that sets in motion her entire storyline for the next four books.

Actually, Mirri makes it pretty clear it's about both of them. She's not especially happy to have been "saved" by Dany and her white savior-ness. Plus, I'm not sure anyone really disputes that Drogo deserved what he got, whereas Dany didn't.

That said, while I don't agree with her actions per se, I do think she's pretty damn justified.

And they were raiding the village to get funding to invade Dany's homeland. And even if they weren't, Dany's the wife of the Khal, so she gets all the privilege of the looting that the Khalasar does. So yeah, very fitting to get revenge on her as well.

You can't deny that Drogo's death had a devastating effect on Dany, though, and after she [naively] thought she had saved this woman by sparing her life. I mean, you don't even feel the least bit sorry for Dany after this happened?

And it's not even like this lady was like "hey, no hard feelings, but it serves your husband right for what he did" towards Dany or anything, she was more like "UGH THANKS A LOT FOR 'SAVING ME' AFTER I WAS ALREADY RAPED EIGHT TIMES HOPE THIS TEACHES YOU A LESSON BITCH"

I can't believe fandom is so eager to romanticise her and her rapist husband.
