I would have thought the amusement of seeing them get caught plagiarizing and cheating, docking them points for missing homework and going "Well I sympathize..." and thinking "LOL no" when they beg for better grades would make up for it.

Kind of a late response, but I just wanted to say that this is one of my favorite secrets ever.

As a side note, one of the reasons that Snape is my favorite HP character is because I sympathize with him. It can't be fun having to teach that many children every day. It's no wonder he's short-tempered all the time, with some of the things that happen in his highly flammable potions classroom. Yes, he obviously went overboard on some of his punishments... but I probably would have gone overboard too if I was surrounded by bratty, misbehaving kids all day.

I'll just leave this here for folks that can't google. Circumcision has numerous benefits as well as risks, like any medical procedure. Incidentally, America isn't even the highest proportion of circumcised males, nor is circumcision a "trend."

Ib4 Wikipedia isn't a reliable source - scroll down and read the sources.

Also... yeah, don't think Snape is circumcised. The wizarding world doesn't seem to have health practices like the muggle world, after all.
