um what about Ouran High School Host Club? Tamaki is about as sweet and nice as they come and 98% of shoujo heroines never end up with a guy like him.

I personally found him annoying. >_> Then again, I multishiped Haruhi like crazy with most everyone, outside Hani and obviously Tamaki.

really?? dude was seriously my favorite character in the series. but then again i do tend to prefer happy, good natured character over the dark and gloomy ones so perhaps i'm biased.

i don't get the hate but i do understand why a lot of people didn't like tamaki/haruhi. the way their relationship ultimately panned out was disappointing to say the least.

This. I shipped her with practically everyone except those two. It's actually one of the rare series where I prefer the opening ended anime ending to the continued manga storyline. I actually stopped reading the manga when I realized it had kind of turned into the thing it started off parodying.

I haven't read the manga-- is it over? Who did she end up with? The anime ends strongly hinting that the two of them are endgame, and I am content with that. I think they make a good pair.

yeah it ended in like 2010 i think. and yes tamaki/haruhi were endgame. i shipped them in the anime and still love them over all but the plot of ouran kinda ran out of steam in the end and made things tedious.

I liked Tamaki too, but only in the manga. I like Vic as his VA, but I didn't like how the anime skipped over the manga's best scenes and ended way too early. That series really had things going for it in the manga! I mean, Tamaki felt a lot deeper of a character in the manga to me.

I liked Mori as well and would have liked seeing him with Haruhi too, but I was happy with Tamaki.
