If someone was genuinely trying to take my life, no matter what the situation, I would physically defend myself, even if that meant having to kill the other person (I would try not to but... in this kind of situation where the object is for the players to kill each other, I don't think I would have any other choice).

I don't think that makes me a bad person, I think it makes me a human being. Or even more simply put, a basic living organism.
