pregnancy isn't synonymous with unhealthy, but it is a health condition, and if you're worried enough about your health to get an abortion, it's a "health matter".

how does your support for single mothers (women who chose to be parents) absolve you from thinking it's right that women should be forced to remain pregnant when they don't want to be? Donate to single mothers, the boys scouts, the donkey sanctuary, whatever you like, but that has nothing to do with abortion. Abortion is about the right to choose NOT to be pregnant and NOT to have a baby.

that said, not that it's of any relevance at all to the situation, I've offered a fuck-ton of support to lone parents struggling with young children. Practical support, not hands-off cheque-writing support. Those are women who chose to be pregnant and chose to give birth. Women who don't choose to be pregnant and don't choose to give birth shouldn't have to do it. Support for women who are parents by choice is laudable, but has nothing to do with abortion rights.
