To bring up a point that nobody else has yet, how do we know OP isn't religious herself? Everyone has been assuming so, but OP never said, only implied that she has no interest in "church." What if OP is Buddhist or Muslim or Pagan or whatever and their friend is Christian?

I think if OP was religious, they would understand that religions tend to have tenants of faith, or dogma, or whatever you want to call it. And that "dragging people to church," "witnessing," whatever you want to call it depending on your outlook, is central dogma to evangelical Christians (which OP's friend definitely sounds like). As in, if you're an evangelical Christian, you have to drag people to church and convert them to Christianity or you're doing it wrong. So in that case, they might understand how their friend feels a moral obligation to drag them to church (even though OP shouldn't be expected to comply and needs to just get a different friend, IMO) and how that may be different from insisting someone join a fandom.
