I would honestly kill myself before giving birth to a child. And if I was forced to give birth? I would probably try to kill that baby, and then kill myself. "I could drop dead if this thing isn't sucked out" is true for me.

This. I don't think a lot of people understand this about the abortion debate. It's not an ideal decision, but the ability to have abortions legally and safely puts the pregnant woman at a LOT less risk than the alternative. *cough* coathangers/self-injury/illegal backstreet operations *cough*

God, people in my family are old enough to remember what it was like before you could get abortions where we live. Jesus Christ the stuff people did to either get illegal abortions or to self-abort is utterly terrifying. My aunt knew someone who DID die trying to self-abort because she hadn't been able to find someone who'd provide it illegally.

Same. Abortion was still illegal where I lived when I was a child - though we basically had a thing called "abortion tourism" where people would travel to another country to have the procedure done, which greatly reduced coathanger incidents..

That's fucking MURDER. You already fucking had the kid, give it up to adoption, you idiot.

And anyone who fucking agrees is insane and in serious need of professional help. Aborting a fetus is one thing, KILLING A BABY POSTPARTUM IS ENTIRELY FUCKING DIFFERENT.
