Is this the place to tell everyone at which movies you laughed although that reaction was definitely not intended?

Because Step Up 3D had me in stitches! The audience hated me for that, but whatev.

I totally laughed my way through all of Saw 3D.

[identity profile] shadowpiranha.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Freddie vs. Jason for me. I fell off my chair because I lost muscle control from laughing so hard. My boyfriend had to pull me up and tell me to shut up.

Like a few other people on here have mentioned before, I burst out laughing during DH when Snape was cradling Lily's body.

I. Just. idek. I guess it was Harry wailing in the background that did it. My mom was teary eyes during the scene and looked at me like I was insane as I was hunched over trying to smother my hysterical giggles

OH MY GOD ME TOO, especially with Harry in the background. I just saw his face, and dissolved into snort-giggles

(Anonymous) 2012-04-16 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
understandable. it was just sooo bad...god so cheesy. hp films never handled flashbacks well, tho.

ROFL YES THE BB HARRY PHOTOBOMB OH MY GOD

[identity profile] kyogres.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
I thought that scene was heartbreaking in the book, but the way they handled it in the film...

I'm sorry, but between Rickman's expression and the cuts to baby Harry screaming and the emphasis on the storm outside (which seemed like they were using to try and force the mood or something), I can't take the scene seriously.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one. I felt slightly guilty for laughing at it in the theater, since I was the only one laughing.

[identity profile] marshwiggledyke.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
I started crying with laughter at Voldemort's last slo-mo AVADAKABLARGHAAAHRGARG.

Also, Molly Weasley's supposed moment of awesome. I'm sorry, but it was like some sort of high-budget amdrams where Molly's been waiting patiently on the wings to come out and say 'NOT MY DAUGHTER' in the most staged way possible.

[identity profile] beforeglamour.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
That was my favorite chapter in the books, but I literally cried from laughter at the shot of him wailing in the movie. I probably would've been more serious about it if I liked the rest of part two more, but I just got to enjoy the looks of rage I got as I laughed the hardest I ever have at a movie.

[identity profile] mutantjules.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
OH ME TOO
and that series is pretty much my heartbeat. But that part...it was definitely the fact that baby Harry's right there crying and Snape just doesn't give a FUCK

(Anonymous) 2012-04-16 12:42 pm (UTC)(link)
The whole Prince's Tale sequence made me cry in the book but that scene in the movie...lol. First I was just like "what is this scene this wasn't in the book this is a bit creepy tbh". Then my friend pointed out Harry in the background and we both laughed hysterically. I also remember cracking up in OoTP when Harry randomly saw a vision of Voldemort in a suit in the train station.

[identity profile] crownedapple.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
For some reason, I could not stop laughing at the scene in the 5th movie where Voldemort was "torturing" Sirius. No idea why - I just started cracking up.

[identity profile] dref22.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I remember the whole theater giggling uncontrollably during Hannibal's Ray Liotta brain eating scece.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-16 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
ew seriously? because it's unrealistic or what? i haven't seen that movie all the way through, but i caught that scene on some movie channel once and had nightmares about it. i wish i had the kind of constitution that would allow me to think scenes like that were funny...they just traumatize me.

Yes... I was there at a showing like that. I giggled, too. It had something to do with that movie being so damned over-the-top with its Hannibal-killing methods. The guy gutted out the window. Those disgusting pigs. So by the time Ray Liotta is there all stoned-looking with his brain-cap off, it was like OMG snork waytago, Hannibal!

(I didn't read the books.)

I laughed when Hedwig in the 6th Harry Potter film died, which is weird of me because I love owls and usually take the death of animals in movies very badly. Somehow, my boyfriend and I were trying to hide our guffaws. I think it was because it was such a quick, spontaneous death. I have a very cruel sense of humor.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-16 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
dang, that scene made me cry. it was sadder in the book tho.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-15 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I got asked to leave "New Moon" because I couldn't stop laughing at Jasper during Bella's birthday party (which is like fifteen minutes into the movie... it was so bad...). Then again, I suppose I could find many, many other people who laughed at some point during NM, so I'm not exactly a special snowflake with that example.

I laughed wayyy too much at Black Swan. Like, I couldn't move during the end credits, I was laughing so hard.

[identity profile] jalaperilo.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Myself and my brother cracked up during the end of Spider-man 3. Not even at the film, I laughed at something he did, then we couldn't stop cause it was sad and people were getting teary, and that set us off more.

[identity profile] streetcake.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
I laughed throughout The Grudge 2. I went to see it again because it was so funny.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-16 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, y'know... Up.

The whole theater's packed full and dead silent. And then there's me, laughing. Talk about awkward.

Oh and I remember me and two of my friends went to see The Dark Knight, and before that they showed us a trailer of Star Wars:Clone Wars. The second we saw Anakin's face me and one of the friends totally lost it. We were trying so hard to stop ourselves, because our other friend was trying to quiet us down, like she was really embarrassed. Apparently all the Star Wars nerds in the theater weren't amused at seeing two 20-something skanks howl in the most undignified manner and were glaring daggers. (I'm a SW fan too, but c'mon, that whole thing on the screen was so bad.)

Everything about Thor.

I was told later that someone almost beat me up for laughing so hard.

Sorry, but Thor is comedy gold.

Breaking Dawn Part I. My friends and I straight-up LOL'd the entire way through, much to the consternation of those folks who had apparently gone in for a romance while we were there for the unintentional comedy. God, we were assholes.
