I totally understand where you're coming from, anon. I just entered a new fandom after being super involved in one for about a year, and my new fandom is... one that gets a lot of judgment, so at first I was constantly afraid of alienating the friends I've made through other fandoms because of it. Turns out more of them are becoming interested in my new fandom than recoiling from it because people on their flist are showing so much interest in it.

TL;DR: Some people on your flist might be irritated, but just as many if not more might end up getting pimped into your new fandoms!

(See, anon? This is probably what your friends will do. I was seriously going to comment here saying that there's nothing wrong with bouncing around between interests; if people genuinely like you they'll either take a cursory interest out of friendship -- and then who knows, they might fall in love with it -- or mock you with love. Okay, probably not the latter. But even so, bouncing between fandoms isn't something that gets a lot of hate, at least not in the places I hang out. And you might even discover that some of your flisters like the other things as well!)
