Okay, so I have a question for any Tumblr users.
What the fuck does gpoy actually mean? I know it's "Gratuitous Picture of Self” and that's makes sense with pictures, but I've seen people reply to text only posts with gpoy and I just don't get it.
I get what it literally means, but I don't understand the context people seem to be using it in now.

I think words can also provide a 'picture', and they might mean "this text post describes me very well".
