I can understand where you're coming from, anon. When my main fandom interest changed, I was worried I would annoy my flist with squee they couldn't care less about. All these "my friends hate me for my new fandom" secrets are intimidating.

But in the end, it's your journal, a reflection of your interests and thoughts. Post whatever you enjoy. If you feel it's going to be too spammy you always have the option to create fandom filters. You might lose people who are only on your flist for the fannish content, but what's the loss if you've got nothing in common with them anymore, no hard feelings
