dude, I always care when anons respond to my posts. the thread is irrelevant.

when anons make excuses for not wanting to be held accountable on F!S and then mention stuff I "admitted" like it's some secret, it's extra funny. the only reason you know that I'm an ex-drunk is because I enjoy being accountable and I post while logged in. you kind of make my point for me.

hey, we could trade recipes or something instead of pointlessly sniping back and forth. if you haven't noticed, F!S is pretty slow tonight. I'll take what I can get.

I really like Alton Brown's recipe for mousse (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/chocolate-mousse-recipe/index.html). He adds rum but I find it tastes pretty much the same with or without it. The coffee and chocolate really overpower it.

It looks pretty straightforward and I am fond of green tea ice cream - or would it be gelato, since it has eggs? - but if the "ice cream maker" is necessary I'm wary as I am pretty sure I don't have one of those. (Which is probably why I consider making one's own ice cream to be some form of magic.)

Well, looking it up, they appear to cost about fifty dollars. Hrrrm. I might have to look into this "making my own ice cream" thing.
