Awww.

It's really common for people to never be happy with their own writing, regardless of the quality. You hating it doesn't mean it's bad.

If it embarrasses you to look back and see these things, then just steer clear of your old writing? Or just look at the comments you get- if people remember your fic positively, then doesn't that count for something? Nobody is perfect, and people tend to be way more critical of their own stuff than other people's stuff, so maybe just recognize that you are seeing it through that lens.

maybe your writing is bad. like when you're no longer emotionally attached you read it and objectively find it lacking and are embarrassed. i don't mean this to be insulting, just a thought.

Please don't delete your old work. It is painfully irritating when one wants to read a legendary fic only to find it's totally vanished from the internet.

It's fine to hate your old stuff, just consider that your old writing might still have fans.

Steer clear of it, but leave it up for the fans. Nothing worst than being able to find and reread a fic you enjoyed so much.

Making new usernames is probably the best idea for you since you so dislike your old stuff. But people deleting fics makes it really difficult for all of those people who enjoyed those stories. And yeah, maybe you think they are low-quality but obviously people like them. So please think of all of the fans who really enjoy your works.

Used to write Jate Lost fanfic back in like 2005-6 and I went back to my ff.net profile and re-read it and it's oddly embarrassing but I'm not going to delete it because I like having a record of my progression as a writer out there. I doubt I'll ever link anyone to it, but I like knowing its there.

i feel the same about some of my fan art drawings.
sometimes I look through my DA gallery and delete some of the old pics - even if they have favs/comments/added to fan groups :/ not that I want to delete them all of course.
