I agree that this trope can be annoying, but I have some recs!

-- Community: Britta is definitely as messed up as any of the guys, and while Shirley and Annie appear more together, they both have epic, hilarious breakdowns and screw ups, too.
-- Parks and Rec has a pretty good balance of competent and incompetent men and women.
-- As someone above says, Archer.
-- I vaguely recall Dee being a bit of a straight woman at the beginning of It's Always Sunny, but she quickly became just as horrible and incompetent and hilarious as any of the guys.

Yesss, I was actually going to point this out. Kaitlin Olsen, the actress who plays her, once commented that Dee devolved into a scummy dudebro just like the rest of the cast to specifically avoid this stereotype.

That's why I like IASIP, I love it when they subvert the trope like the DENNIS System episode when she admonishes the guys for playing around women's feelings even though she had a guy waiting outside for her at her beck and call and toying around with him (although it was somewhat dashed when she got all paranoid that the guy might be like Dennis).

And this is why I love her and It's Always Sunny. Women can be just as terrible as men -- and just as funny. Love it.

OH GOSH YES, ARCHER!!

That show, is like, predominately women anyway. And they're all freaking hilarious. Carol is just the worse person ever, Pam is awesome, Mallory...ah man, they're all wonderful.

Archer is great because EVERYONE is the worst. Except Lana, who is the best.

Yeah, but throughout the series, some of the characters show surprisingly human sides to themselves. I mean, hell, by the end of last season, Archer felt like the most decent guy on the team. Yes, he'd screw any woman around, but his douchery had all been thoroughly explained, and he'd had several vulnerable moments. And Pam...oh my gosh, she is just wonderful. Vulgar as balls and unashamed.

But Carol, Carol is so close to being evil. Evil would require effort on her part, so instead she is just the most horrible person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. And holy crap, is that fun to watch.

...I need more of that show. Now.
