heterophobia is a weird concept. It's right up there with "reverse racism" and other weirdo internet dictionary terms.

Ehm, no.

Any race can be racist towards others on a personal level, it's not an 'internet dictionary' thing, that as always been the definition for regular people.

The whole "institutional racism" only popped up fairly recently in social studies...so do not be surprised if people do not use that definition.

Let me give you two truths of the world:

Every group out there, even the ones with all the privalege, will have somebody in another group that hates them based soley on that affiliation, seperate from any sort of actual and accurate reading of said person's character. In short, every group has fuckheads.

Every one of those X on Y (and Y on X!) fuckhead actions, has a name. And tumblr will use it till it's devoid of meaning.
