I'm not a fan so I'm speaking from an outsider's point of view, but I don't understand why people are so angry about her name being changed from Derpy to Dizzy (or was it Ditzy)? I wouldn't consider it a slur, but it still seems a little mean and I think Dizzy sounds cuter and more name-like anyway...?

Her scene was slightly troubling, and enough people wrote to Hasbro to make them remove her name and giving her a different voice. Cue the adult-children first whining about how there's NO WAY she could be seen as ablist, then changing their tune to "but it's a lost opportunity to teach about disabled people~!"

Then came the attacks from everywhere on... anyone really. No one was safe. You didn't mind the name? You got attacked by SJW:ers, You admitted the scene had problems? Cue the bronies.

Personally I think they should've stuck with Lauren Faust wanting to keep her as a background gag character.
