I've been in fandom since high school. Jump 15 years later and I'm still in fandom (different fandoms, but still).

Just because you get older doesn't necessarily mean you give up your hobbies. You may not be able to stay up until 3 AM reading/writing fic, but that doesn't mean if I have a spare hour between work and cooking dinner I'm not going to write fic or work out or whatever.

(That's not saying people's interests don't change, which they very well for you. But just speaking for myself, I've always liked writing fic and I'll probably keep writing fic. Just like I like running and hanging out with friends, except my friends now are a bunch of Old Marrieds and not the cool singles crowd).
