Why not go for servants? I mean since it is a fantasy, then wish to be rich and be able to pay people to serve you grapes while half naked. I'm sure some rich person somewhere right now is paying for/getting this.

Wishing for slaves is a bit insensitive, don't you think?

Slaves work better in my fantasy - but I guess partially because I enjoy the Roman setting/decadence. Also because you only have to pay them once: on purchase.

I totally would get servants, but I'm perpetually broke, so no dice.

You know, you'd still have to be rich to keep slaves. They do tend to need food, some minimal healthcare, lodgings, stuff like that.
