So... you discount the idea that you might want to share something you love (outside of diaper genies) with your kids someday? Because that's a little sad to me.

Becoming a mother doesn't mean you suddenly turn into a Stepford Wife. Your brain doesn't disappear, nor do your interests, hobbies or anything else. And part of the fun for me anyway has been watching my son (he's five) find his own interests that coincide with mine. We had Mom-Son day at a con last weekend. I went home with comics, he went home with an Iron Man doll. I got my love of comics from my dad, I'm passing on my love of the characters to my son. How is that any different from playing baseball together or fixing cars or any other interest a parent might share with their kid?
