This is 10 from last secret post. I sympathize. I wish that things werent this way. I wish that more people liked the things I care about. I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one, as weird as that may be.

9 OP here. I do, too. Being told to write what I love doesn't help me. I do write what I love but I'm only human. I want people to comment on what I write, not who I write. That isn't the case and it disappoints me.

Sadder still than all that? I know there are fans out there for my pairing and they won't comment on my fics. Where is the motivation to keep writing for it? I have many fics for my favorite pairing sitting on my computer which I won't post. No point. I'll write for them and leave it there. It gets as many comments never seeing posted as it does sitting there for everyone to read and I'll keep writing for the big pairing and getting my motivation there.
