OP here. Paranoia? Like I said never been into an up and coming band. There's little more to it then just paranoia. I just want to see them live. I want to be in on the live show fun. I love their voices and doubt they'll just stop doing music, especially David, but if they break up before I can see them, the live SPG experience will unavailable.

Also, I'm glad you like them. They are a lot of fun.

OP here. I am just scared I'll never get to see them live you know? They don't travel much, and even though they make music and release albums, they aren't really a "band" like the type that tours you know?

that's Rabbit. SPG has been around for a long time and they've been wanting to do tours but money's tight and all. i think he's been trying to do some art commissions and they're doing fundraisers to get out there again. they're a really nice trio.

I meant I think I knew he was talking about with that Drell character. (Isn't he sort of Abe Sapien looking?)I totally know who Rabbit is. Hee. RABBBBBBBIT! :) I might commission Chris to draw something, but then he'd have to do it. I am on their patronism site, hoping that helps, but also hoping other helping options pop up to! :)

Whoa. I saw these guys locally last year. Had no idea they'd gotten well known enough now to show up here!

All I know about the band is that they've already lost one member, though I never saw them play when she was with them. What I have seen from them so far has been quite amazing though, and I'd hate to see them break up, too. Such a creative project.

The whole group just bustles with creativity. Three are mimes, three visual artists, 5 musicians total, all take turns writing. I'm so jealous you got to see them. I hope they come to the East Coast some time! I'd see them in any form. I have a feeling at the very least the twins will be doing their thing in some form for a long time.

I hope you can see them sometime! It was by far one of the most delightfully bizarre and creative shows I've ever seen. So much fun.

Well, genre and stylistically they're not at all the same, but I'm all over the place musically... Right now I'm on a pretty heavy Gogol Bordello jag. I'm tempering that with a lot of Peatbog Faeries. Both can be found on youtube. Gogol Bordello is crazy awesome gypsy punk. Peatbog is like a sort of hippie jam band, only Scottish with bagpipes and stuff.

Even if they break up, it's not like the music they already made will suddenly burst into flames, deleting itself from your MP3s in a cloud of data and a "fuck you." Enjoy what they put out, and hope it keeps going, like any other band.

OP Here. I want to see them live. They don't tour, and only do a few non-San Diego zoo engagements, like cons and private parties. I do love there music, but their live shows, damn those are something else. One of my favorite musicians died before I was even born so I understand the music goes on for ever, but these guys are out there doing it now and I want a piece of the magic!

I don't think it's terribly likely that they'll break up, The Spine and Rabbit (David and Christopher respectively) are twin brothers. They only lost Upgrade because she got a legitimate acting job and she wanted to focus more on her acting.

Also they've started doing more tours and stuff recently, and have gone so far as to start appearing at sci-fi conventions and the like the last few years. (I'm personally still holding out for them to appear at something like Dragon*Con or something over here on the east coast.)
