I think the reason people complain about BC's looks is because, objectively, he's not beautiful. He is striking, though, and I think some other adjectives would get fewer negative responses.

If you aren't model-beautiful, OP, you own that shit. Being attractive is about more than the physical.

For what reason would anyone complain about his looks, though? Especially to the man's face. People have called him "horse-faced" and similar pejoratives for so long that the poor man actually believes that shit. Granted, with some angles/expressions his features aren't overly appealing but then he'll turn a different way or adopt a different expression and he takes my breath clean away. His beauty is unique to him but it doesn't mean the word is inapt simply because he's outside someone else's arbitrary standard.

Yes, it is, and BC is intelligent and talented and funny and kind and that makes him beautiful, regardless of whatever expression some screencapper decides to freeze for posterity.

What is commonly considered beautiful, then. Don't say there's no such idea; what it is might vary depending on culture and time period, but it definitely exists. You can think he's the hottest thing on legs, anon, but to say that there aren't widespread concepts of beauty is pretty obtuse.
