And don't be afraid to offer concrit, because that indicates you looked at her work with your brain engaged, which is an enormous compliment. If she's a member of any not-enormous comms on LJ or DW or wherever, try joining those and being a genuinely active member (i.e., don't just internet stalk her, but participate in the comm).
