I always found Ike to be supermecha asexual, simply because he never seems to show any interest in any women or men throughout Radiant Dawn. I mean, he does 'leave' with Ranulf or Soren, but I have close friends who I'd never pursue a relationship with but would follow to the end of the Earth if they asked me.
But I'll agree with you that some people are ridiculous about it. xD Manly gay guys exist, same with manly bi guys. I find it's mainly straight guys who idolize Ike that tend to preach that.
