Yeah, I don't wear make-up but I still look like a woman without it. She has a very manly face and voice. That doesn't really matter when it comes to her being entertaining or not, but it's a fact. My friend had me watch a video and guess if it was a he or she, and I honestly couldn't answer -- and I watch a ton of anime so I thought I was good at gender distinguishing, lol.

Most anime characters of that sort barely even look like humans, much less people of any particular gender, so I don't know how you could possibly get the idea that that would help you in real life.
