I just watched the available episodes of Korra for the first time with my sister yesterday and I swear, with the new episode, if shippers should be mad at anyone it's Mako.

I like her just fine, though.

Mako is giving me pretty much no reasons to like him. I get that he's a product of his tough childhood and everything, but that doesn't give him any right to be a dick to everybody. Zuko was the same way, until he acknowledged what a fuck-up he was and apologized for all the shit he said.

But seriously, if Mako had just left it alone, Bolin wouldn't have gotten as hurt.

I'm sorry, but polyamory is a thing. People can love more than one person at once. They don't have to "make up their fucking mind." (but they do have to keep to their fucking commitments and not kiss other people behind their girlfriend's back, Mako) Feelings like love aren't things you can just turn on and off like a tap, so excepting Mako to "choose" one girl and only be in love with her is a fucking irrational thing to expect.

I don't see how shippers should be mad at anyone. Yeah, Korra clearly has a crush on Mako, but he never reciprocated, and he's not leading anyone on.

With Asami, they're both single people hanging out.

Well, as of episode 5, he did "kiss her [Korra] back" when she surprise!kissed him, even thought he's not single, and going out with Asami...

Totally true even though Mako needs to step the hell off. \: (In his defense, though, Korra DID kiss him, knowing he's dating Asami, but he didn't exactly stop her.)

I thought Korra was acting very immature in that episode and I am NOT OKAY with the way Byrke sometimes handles the ~meant to be~ love plotlines are irritating, but at least she seemed to have learned her lesson? I kind of wish Mako had a bit of an awakening too, because he didn't seem to notice he was also in the wrong.

But we'll see! I still dig everyone.
