Haha. I could never, ever stand horror movies. I just never, ever got the appeal of being scared shitless for the sake of being scared shitless. And if they didn't scare me shitless, they were always incredibly boring. Interesting stuff with horror mixed in, like Jurassic Park, or older stuff like Hitchcock, I liked, but straight-up pure horror for the sake of horror, especially gory slasher flicks...I just can't stand watching the good ones or the bad ones.

On the other hand, I LOVE LOVE LOVE horror movie parodies/homages/pastiches in other media, whether they're pure comedy (like say, The Simpsons) or semi-serious, like various episodes of Buffy or Angel. Or like that Summer Camp horror flick episode of Psych. I usually do not give a flying fuck about summer camp horror flicks, but maybe it's different when I actually give a fuck about the characters, whereas characters in horror movies are almost always people who either are too assholish or have too little personality to give a fuck about.
